Brown delivered today, and all I can say is WOW!

Just in case there was any doubt about what's lurking under the hood there:

The 7-14 is so fat that personally I thought there was no way I'd ever be able to use it in the housing. It's so rotund that the (hard mounted) lens shade will not fit thru the port opening of the housing, much less thru the port barrel of existing Ikelite ports. I just couldn't bring myself to take the suggestion that I take a Dremel tool to the shade.

I told Ike to just forget it, but he put his wizard Brett on the case and voila! Not only did they come up with a port to acomodate the big boy, but actually came up with a zoom gear that fits in there as well. This port will work for the E-300 housing as well.

Once again, my hat is off to Ike and Co. Thanks Ike!

Now the only problem is to do it justice underwater...
