Hi All!

Forgive me if you have alredy seen this but I am afraid it got lost as part of another thread:

On my E-1, I clocked the flickering time of the red "busy" diode
when shooting 12 RAW images in sequence mode (filling the buffer).
With a SanDisk Ultra II, it took 36 seconds and with each RAW file
being 10.412 MB it gives an effective write speed of about 3.5
MB/sec. With a Transcend 40x I got 3 MB/sec. (Details: Just formatted
cards, WB=3000K, Manual exposure with Shutter speed=1/4000 sec.)

In light of the discussion on wether the E-300 benefits fully from its support of "Write Acceleration", it would be interesting to see
similar results for the E-300. (WA enhanced 1GB Lexar cards are said to give 12 MB/sec. with that camera according to Olympus. See:
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1022&message=11675586 )

Are there any E-300 users out there
who would care for doing a similar test?

Cheers, Jens.
