And it smacks of quality through and through, at the moment I have a few sample shots at ISO 200 that I would be happy to upload if someone provides me with somewhere to stick them.
Some points of note are, the CF door is now spring loaded, the LCD is larger and awesome, there are no flip doors, all button are exposed, LCD display has hoodman like prot cover. Shutter sound not as loud or intrusive as D1 series but very positive and with a different feel. You can easily change the continuous shooting speed via the left hand shooting mode selector. Images seem to have a slightly warmer more real redder cast to them, which I prefer, but not ott like on Canon 10D Image sharpness and resolution at ISO 200 is better than any 4mp cam I've seen, though I've not tried the Canon 1D Noise levels at ISO 200 are not noticeable. Camera grip are contoured differently but nicer. Is slightly shorter in height, fits more easily in my bag. AF is not noticeably quicker or slower, possibly more accurate. ISO selection has been moved to buttons below LCD (now in the midde).
Even after 1 hour and whilst I wait for the battery to charge, I can happily say that this saucy nifty little black number is a definite keeper.
Must dash, have pics to take.
