I'd like to ask what scenario you would choose? Would you buy a used D3 or a new D700 with a grip for approximately the same price. The D3 has around 40K clicks. I like the D3 for it duel card slots, integrated grip and longer battery life and overall feel. I like a D700 for it's sensor cleaner and warranty. With the grip on the D700, it's harder to navigate the rocker switch and I don't like that.

I'd like to hear from those that have both and could give me some feedback. The camera would be used in a pro environment and I don't coddle my equipment but I do take really good care of it. They are not objects dux art.

I'm hoping this thread doesn't start something, but I'd like to hear from those that have experience with the equipment. Image quality is the same so that should not have any bearing on this matter.
