Having difficulty finding the answer to the question which model camera has the largest frame buffer for RAW images, a D3 or D700? Also I understand there is an approx. $500 upgrade available from Nikon to enlarge the frame buffer on the D3. Anyone know the RAW file buffer count after the enlargement? As you might have guessed, I am trying to decide whether to buy a used D3 or a new D700. I shoot aviation air shows and need the largest frame buffer possible, in addition to the fastest CF cards (which I already have, new 600X Sandisk). -- Clifford W Martin aka BigRedDogATL http://cwmartin.smugmug.com
