This is the first professional iso test between the D700 and the D3.
Some notes.
- Lens used: Nikkor 50mm 1.8D
- Same settings at all isos (aperture and speed shutter)
- All images are jpgs converted from RAW(NEF) via Capture NX 2.0
- Manual WB, 3030k
- Images available to download from iso 400 to 25,600

IMO, there are no significative differences, same IQ and same excellent High iso performance..the image below is a 100% crop at iso 6400, both cameras delivery same fine detail at this setting and at all iso range. Many people is going to see the D700 before ordering the D3.
