I am not sure if anyone has been following the new Pentax K-x. There have been discussion about the significant sensor improvement over the higher priced K-7. Well the first detailed review just came out with DR measurements (print normalized to EV 13.6!!!). The Pentax K-7 measured on the same site had a DR of EV 10.9 print normalized. The K-x also had great noise (high ISO) results and the body lists for $599. Could this be a cheap S5 replacement?
