I thought some of you might be interested in these 2 links. This happened here in Charlotte, NC. A well known news photographer who has received awards before had to give 3 awards back because he 'overburned' his photos. It appeared to me, after reading it, that the newspaper reviewed perhaps his RAWs????--maybe his original jpegs---and they decided that he 'overdid' the process. I'm wondering how they or the NC Press Photographers Assoc. decides how much is TOO much since it appears to be allowed?

and this one states the newspaper policy on it. I wish the photo was included on the page but it is not (this was on yesterday's opinion/editorial page) because it truly is a terrific shot.
