I called my camera dealer in Charlottesville, VA to cancel my 10D order because I deceided to keep my D60. He responded that this was a good idea and I would be happy with my choice.

I asked him what he meant and he said his boss was at PMA and he talked with him this afternoon. His boss told him one of the Canon reps at PMA, who he has known for years, told him that the 10D was just the first step to Canon's DSLR plans for this year. He told him about two other cameras to be announced:

Canon Rebel like digital (100D) 4MP, plastic body, 3 fps, 6 frame buffer, Rebel AF System. MAP about $900.00

Canon 3 like digital (3D) 6MP, metal body, 8fps, 24 shot buffer, EOS 3 AF System. MAP about $3,200.

He has never screwed around with me before. So I am inclined to believe him.

So, that would leave us with:

1Ds -- $8,000
3D -- $3,200
10D -- $1,500
100D - $900
