Has anyone had any experience using generic batteries in their 7D. I realize that the performance of the batteries is hit or miss and that the camera won't show how much charge is left in them. I just don't want to do anything that might mess up my camera. I'm thinking that as long as the voltage is the same and as long as they aren't left in the camera for an extended period of time that the liklihood of any kind of damage is very remote. Am I overlooking anything? -- CN
