7D images a bit harsh?

I've seen this mentioned a few times now... What does it mean? When do you see the harshness, 100% viewing, or in prints? Which cameras are you comparing against? I've thought some of the 7D images posted here seem a bit over-sharpened. Is this actually the harshness mentioned?

I currently have a 1D3 & 1D2, and find both to have very good image quality. Thinking about adding a 7D for the smaller body, AF while in Live View (to use with Sigmonster), built-in flash, video, and a few other things. But, the comment about harsh images causes concern.
