The 50D is the D300 killer. Similar or better performance to the D300 at a D90 price. Nikon has the D700. When will Canon annouce the 50DFF, aka, the D700 killer ? My guess is it will arrive in 6 to 9 months, 18 or so months after the 40D was announced. The 5DMKII will be a different beast, just as the D3 is different from the D700. -- 40D, 28-135, 50 f/1.8, 85 f/1.8, 430EX Broken G9, soon to be fixed. Ufraw and Gimp power user.
