The official website of Canon in China "accidentally" leaked the 50D specs on their main EOS webpage for a few hours. This must be the umpteenth time Canon has leaked their specs in the days leading up to their official press conference. If the specs prove accurate: EOS 50D 15.1 MP @ 6.3 fps (up from 10 MP @ 6.5 fps) 640 x 480 VGA LCD (up from 320 x 240) ISO 100-3200 plus 6400H & 12800H (up from 100-1600 plus 3200H) Digic 4 Processor In-camera vignetting & CA correction User Adjustable Focus Calibration Same 9-pt Cross Type AF as 40D Camera looks to be similar to the Pentax K20D: 14.6 MP sensor with focus calibration. It lacks the K20D's weather seals and in-sensor stabilization. However, it does have a magnesium alloy body, a VGA LCD screen, and a fast 6.3 fps burst, none of which the K20D has. So the question is... How many people here would consider an upgrade to this camera? How many won't even take it into consideration?
