I have finally been able to register with DPreview!!! You won't believe how long I have tried and never being able to receive a registration confirmation. I feel like one of a privileged crowd now:)

I was quite excited getting my 40D last Saturday. As a previous 350D user I now have an extra ISO step to experiment with.

Gonna try to post my first pic, taken at 3200ISO, using Live View and manual focus. Shot under ambient flouro bulbs in lounge. Converted from RAW to jpeg using the original shot setting with sharpness a 3.

Personally, I am quite happy with the pictures I have taken so far. Looking forward to trying out the 135mm L with the camera when I have the time.

Has anyone got the new grip yet? The shops I tried here in Hong Kong say they won't arrive till the beginning of September.
