Anyway, when the 10D was releasing I always heard something from them, same with the 20 and 30D, MK IIN, III etc..

I always had some news a couple of months ahead of any release announcement.
well I met with both canon reps this week to pickup a couple of lenses and both reps which I have known since my film days had no new info, 1 told me he has not even heard a 40d was in the works, the other also said he has not heard a peep about a 40D, though did agree that if Canon did not come out with something soon in the XXd series there were going to be many upset Canon users, Though did still say he has not heard a word, and if there was a 40D coming this year, this would be the first time he had not heard any direct rumors from Canon, this going back to N8008 when he started and new about the release 3 months ahead of time and every body since?????
