I am experiencing the DXO Optics Pro 5 programme, (v5.3, trial ) "freezing" for a couple of seconds on every adjustment applied. This isn't just a delay in applying every change, but the photograph, shrinking back and de-focussing during the freeze.
I am using an Intel core iMac with 3Gb RAM, which should be sufficient according to the DXO spec. requirements. The files are 10-15 Kb from a FF camera. (Canon 5D)
I have contacted Alain Briot, who produced a tutorial for this software, who hasn't experienced this himself, (he works with file sizes of over 20 Kb), so it isn't a feature of the programme.
I have come across it mentioned on forums before, but I need more information to find out if it is peculiar to the iMac, or whether I could get it to run as it should.
I really need the features the DXO optics Pro 5 software offers.
