I just wondered if anybody had noticed or received the note from PayPal of the latest new "Update Policy" of theirs , to come into account on 20th January 2010 ?
I've just received a note - I was a bit wary , in case this was yet another scam, but I'm sure that it isn't so.
I logged onto my account - safely enough - and as indicated...there it is ..of course in quite tiny print - "Policy Updates" , with all the details.
I'm still not sure if generally it will be a Payers burden...or if the 'Receiver' of the amount will get the charge.. but what it seems to amount to is that one way or other .. either Payer or Seller will finish up with a small added amount to the normal sum due and paid (as I do) in regard to an Ebay purchase.
Since few Sellers will likely be prepared to accept any other way - and even now it usually has to be a 'verified account' of course.. yet another burden on an Ebay settlement it seems.
