I bought a tamron 90mm sp adaptall 2 (CY mount) off of ebay. When it arrived, I was upset to find that the aperture blades were stuck. More particularly, when I stop it down, the lens only stops down the first two stops, after which the aperture gets no smaller. If I flip the aperture pin to open up the aperture (as if it were on a film body) and then release the aperture pin, the lens stops down to the proper aperture all the way to f32.

As the rest of the lens is perfect, the seller gave me a partial refund for me to keep the lens (my idea)... so the question that remains is

do you guys/girls have any thoughts on this?

I have a spanner and graphite from fixing a yashica gsn 35 rangefinder with a stuck shutter... it seems to me this should be a similar repair
