I'm just wondering, with all the Nikon's expertise and haveing among the greatest (D)SLR's EVER created, why is their smaller camera line-up so weak? I mean Canon does pretty well in that department, not to mention lesser photographic producers like Panasonic or Olympus, which actually lead and innovate here, like the SLR big boys. As much as I'm a fan of Nikon (D)SLR's, I was never tempted by their smaller camera offer, which was always so-so in my opinion - ugly and never outstanding in terms of performance. I'd like to know what people generally think about this subject, that's why this question was not placed in the Nikon forums. -- @rtur 'Charlie don't surf!'
