Let say I intend to engage a professional photographer for my wedding. I walk into a shop and was very impressed with his portfolio and his fee is not cheap. So I engage him. On the actual day, I was shocked that he was using only a u4/3 camera instead of those huge Mk2 or D3.
Will you feel cheated or felt embarrassed in front of your relatives and friends and endure the whole ceremony and dinner with unease feeling and keep thinking that they might have mistaken you're trying to save money, or not enough money to engage a better pro.
Or you rather prefer one (cost cheaper than above) that lug around with big camera and flash, with another pro looking spare camera hanging from his neck, and enjoy good opinion from friends and relatives, but in the end, the photo are so-so.
