I have searched the forums for slideshow software opinions and Proshow Gold seems to be the clear favorite. I have seen no references whatever to Magix Xtreme Photostory Deluxe but Top Ten Reviews and a couple of other sites list it as the #1 choice (PG is 3rd or further down the line) and lists several features (audio dubbing comes to mind) which PG does not have. I have downloaded the trial version of both and the claim that the Magix software has a more user-friendly interface and more features does seem to be borne out. I am trying to decide which one to go for and would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has tried both or the Magix Xtreme Photostory(deluxe) or just any reason anyone might offer for critiquing the above rating.
