With various discussions about rights of photographers, rights to privacy, etc. I wonder who asked DPR to select and prominently, publicly display the most "active" people who post on the forum?
Has DPR hired a "statistics-fanatic" person?
Is is possible that some of these folks would rather not see their names on such a public list?
What will the next round of published statistical information (on individuals) be?
To be sure, many people have a natural curiosity (or nosiness) but in the US at least, we took a certain pride of minding our own business. Posting, exchanging info, helping others is what forums are best at. But DPR itself is, in my opinion, going far beyond that.
I for one think DPR should back off immediately on this type of posting.
