before i start i am NOT advocating a boycott of the Olympics!. i just wondered if there was ever an Olympics event (in the last 40 years) where any famous Photographers where known to have boycotted because of the political situation in the hosting country, i wondered because if i was a Proffesional photographer and i was asked by my editor to cover the forthcoming event, i think i would seriously consider not attending, mainly because of the Tibet situation and the general political situation in China.....

i may be wrong but i feel that the Tibet situation may overide all the Politics v Sport debate, just my opinion.
