I've been trying to look for a camera that is capable of doing good video in short clips (just a couple of seconds is usually enough). I had never thought about Casio's EX series but have recently begun to look at them. I was wondering if someone here could tell me any of the following:

How good can the high-speed burst pictures be made? The ones I've seen on the web seem to have quite a bit of detail smearing but are otherwise decent. Does it help to lower the rate to 15 fps? (is 20 fps possible?). Do any adjustments help in-camera?

How good are the videos? Typical 720p videos like you see from the competition? If you just needed a video that's a couple of seconds long would it be better to take them in burst mode then drop them into photoshop or other editor? (I know it's a lot of work, I do it quite a bit with timelapse).

Is one camera better than the other at doing high-speed bursts? I see where the F1 can do 60 pics and the other can only do 40 pics. Is that right?

Any samples would be much appreciated, the videos on vimeo are old and have been terribly compressed. I'm not that interested in the super-fast burst modes, at least not right now, but you never know :)

Thanks
