Hi I've been a Canon user for years, mainly because that's what everyone else in my family was using. We've been happy enough, but now it is time to replace our SD1000 and I am looking further afield. I tried the Panasonic LX3 but it's too complicated for me, and too big. We are mainly taking family photos, so parties, kids, sports, pets. A good number of macro shots as well - insects and mushrooms, flowers. What I really want is an ultracompact that takes great shots, decent in low light, fast and responsive, easy to use, under $300. I saw some really impressive shots from the V8, but had honestly never really considered Casio before so wondering what else in the line-up might fit the bill. Thanks for any suggestions!
