Alright you pros . . . I am looking for some advice.

I just secured $10K in funding to get me started on a part-time photography biz. For a little background, I have been a photographer for about 12 years, and have freelanced here and there for alot of that time. Over the last year, I am getting increased offers for my services, and eventually want to start doing weddings. I do have a full time job with steady and decent pay, but I am hoping to one day get out of my corporate job.

The work I am currently doing (with a Pentax K200D):
Live Music
Band Album Artwork/Promo shots
Models for a friend who owns a T-Shirt Company
Family Candids and Portraits (mostly babies and kids)
Youth Sports and Martial Arts - Selling Action shots, no group or posed (yet)

What I plan to start doing:
Weddings
Stock Photography
Art Prints

So I have put together this package to get the most use out of my $10K, I would like to hear some input. I would not like to hear any sort of snarkey or negative responses if you guys could spare me those, because I am very excited, and any downers will not be appreciated.

Here is the package:

1 - Nikon D700 refurb $2200
1 - 70-200mm VRII f/2.8 $2399
1 - MacBook Pro Refurb $1690
1 - Zenfolio Account $100
1 - Nikon SB600 Flash
1 - 24-70mm f/2.8 Nikon Lens $1800
1 - Table Top Studio $85
1 - Nikon Battery Grip $270
1 - Strobist Pro PT3 2 Light Kit (http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,12324.html)

I have researched all of this ad nauseum. I found Ken Rockwell's site extremely helpful, and I am also a fan of the strobist.

I also am about half way through the NYIP Pro Photographer course, which I wanted to take to have SOME credentials and formal education other than my sporadic classes over the years. I would highly recommend NYIP to someone looking for this.

I have read three photo workshop books, which is a series that I also highly recommend.

I am constantly filling my knowledge base, I am a severe photo knowledge/education (and this forum) junkie. I worried about posting this and getting negative feedback, but I assure this is not your standard "I was just hired to shoot a wedding, which mode should I shoot in A or P?" type post. :) I consider myself to be a solid photographer who is looking to learn more, and I have experience dating back to darkroom days. I used to shoot local sports in high school with an all manual 1984 Pentax K1000, and even my current K200D was limiting me.

Any bit of advice on the above package would be much appreciated, and any other advice is welcomed.

Oh and also, I do have a business degree in finance, so setting up an LLC, taxes, and keeping books are not a concern.

So have at it . . . I look forward to hearing from all of you, and from a long time troller . . . thanks for your knowledge on all things pro photography.
