For some reason, I didn't read the part of the D3 manual where it talked about blinkies. I use this feature when using the video camera but just never thought about it for stills.
This "new" feature along with a recent article I read about exposing to the right made me think about using blinkies to expose to the extreme right with out blowing the highlights. I know, some types of blow highlights are fine- lights,ect- but, in general, I have the impression that the farther to the right, the better.
Are there any negatives to this approach?
