i just launched my first time web site with my own domain name (insightfolio.com). i consider myself as an amateur photographer. four questions come to my mind. any cc is welcome:

1). will this web site helps pro wedding photographer to be interested to hire me as his/her assistant photographer for the wedding photo as long as we are in same location? fyi, i am deaf but i don't care cuz i love to shoot the candid photos at the wedding that made my day to see their (bride & groom) special moment once in lifetime.

2). should i share the information what kind of equipment i use the gears on my bio? i am concerned about bias issue like canon & nikon might look down to my sony a900 & zeiss lenses?

3). will this web site look so simple and enough to wow for any potential clients who are interested in low budget to hire me as amateur wedding photographer for my side job for little extra $ on weekend if pro photographer in high budget doesn't want to hire me as assistant? yeah, i have full time job in different field.

i have high respect for pro wedding photographers but what if they don't want to hire me as assistant to gain my experience so where should i start something to gain my experience. how will i keep the ethic to respect for other pro wedding photographers' business.

4). am i in right place to post my thread on this pro digital talk forum?
