I've just listed my friend's 10D with grip on eBay last night, and today it was sold with a 'Buy It Now'. I've had an email from the buyer saying that she's paid via PayPal and could I ship the camera to her son in Nigeria. OK, at this point alarm bells are going off. The only risk I can see is that after the payment arrives in my PayPal account and my friend ships his camera, the originating payment to PayPal bounces and PayPal takes the money back, leaving me out of pocket. Does anyone know how long the funds need to be with PayPal before you can be assured that they've cleared? I appear to meet PayPal's 'Seller Protection' criteria, so that might help. I'll wait to see if the payment ever turns up in my account and what the registered address is. Thanks, -- Steve
