I'm interested in buying the GRD 2. I currently own a Canon S50, and often require a wider angle, rather than more zoom, so the GRD's lack of zoom isn't much of an issue. However I'm interested to know how many pixels you would get out of the GRD at it's maximum x4 digital zoom. I'm guessing that as it is 10Mp, then at x4 digital zoom it would 2.5Mp, or are my calculations wrong?
Also, does anyone happen to know at which steps the GRD gives digital zoom (e.g. x1, x1.5,x2 etc), and the associated image size (in pixels)?
