I suspect that this has been touched on before but how many GRD owners who were going to move on to the GRD II have decide that the extra options provided by the new Firmware and the extra accessories are enough to keep them happy for the foreseeable future? Also, would anyone consider looking for a new GRD to update to the new spec as a first move into GRD ownership?
I have a GX which I like and is working but really needs a new lens assembly. Quoted at £83 by Ricoh and conveniently I only live 3 miles from the UK depot. Repair or put the money towards a GRDI or II? Maybe the GX100 spec is closer to the GX and that's an option too. I do use the zoom sometimes and the 24mm is also tempting.
