I guess the 1:1 feature will be a cropped image (there is no other way) - I have been cropping square images from the GR (and others) for quite a while. If you like composing in square then there is no harm done - I also think that there are quite a few very usefull improvements in the "II" and combined they make a very useful upgrade but it is nice to see that it has not been aimed at making the original GR immediately obsolete. -- Tom Caldwell
