What Camera Magazine has a 2 page review of the GX100 in the latest issue of their UK magazine (July issue). Unfortunately the review isn’t available on their website yet, so I’ll try and summarise from memory.
They give the camera an overall score of 90%, which is the highest ever given to a compact camera and also use the statement that it is the “best high-end compact camera on the market”.
They state that the main rivals are the Canon G7 and Nikon P5000; however the GX100 is superior mainly thanks to featuring RAW and an excellent wide angle lens.
The main negative noted is noise; however they commend the sharp, detailed images accompany it due to conservative noise processing.
There are also the obviousl complements on the excellent feature set and outstanding controls.
Basically there's not much new in review to regular visitors of this forum or owners of the GX100, however it’s always nice to see very positive professional reviews. This camera has had two out of two glowing professional English reviews now, I wonder if DPreview will follow suit??
