This was taken approx @ 4PM on our way from Lake Tahoe south on Hiway 395. I seem to always be fascinated by the mountains along this area so I take a photo every time I pass by this area rain or snow or seldom sunny. As you can see it was very very cloudy and cold. Those red flowers blooming alway amaze me. They must be very very hardy little plants whatever they are? God's country for Betty and me! Gary N W Note: Looks a little noisy but I decided to leave it alone!
