We took a few pictures of autumn colors on our hill Sunday afternoon. Along the way, we caught a peek through the trees of Mt. St. Helens (about 56 miles north), with some fresh snowfall on it.

Look at the tree in the mid distance to the left of the two foreground trees.
I should be interested in explanations of the phenomenon.
