The comments that have become quite common when looking at some of the better images on this forum from that camera were all proved out by the review.

Great in soft light.
Bad in harsh light because of CA.
Especially bad CA in the corners.
Decent detail at high ISO up to 1600.
Poor fine detail in low contrast areas at high ISO (same as Fxx series though.)

We've seen it all on here ... and the only real surprise was how well the cam did at 1600ISO, provided you are not trying to shoot fine, low contrast detail.

Note that we've also seen sample variation on here ... some of the cams seem to have trouble in the corners with softness (more like blur.) Theirs did not, which means that the lense is generally very capable.

The OIS is useful enough, but 1.3 stops is a little disappointing for lense based OIS.

It's a great cam, but has certain flaws that should make you think twice and seek a good price.
