Some photos taken over the last week or so in Manchester (UK) city centre. The b&w shots were mostly taken using the in-camera setting with sepia tones added using the Picasa2 colour temperature slider.

The photos taken of the bridges over the canal are of an area of the city centre that is hardly ever seen by shoppers or workers.

Whilst I was there over two seperate visits on two seperate days I only saw a handful of people (mostly art students) even though the city streets nearby, but way above us, were thronging with people. I would guess that there are plenty of Mancunians who have never seen these dramatic structures.
