Subject   Enjoying the ISO 1600 (8 pics F30)  [SIMILAR]

Notwithstanding that the image quality of the F30 ISO 1600 cannot be comparable to that of a good dSLR, the unique way the F30 is rendering its high ISO images is often adding a special flavour to a night picture. Such special effect (painting like, water coloury or whatever one may describe it) helps conveying the mood of a night scene so well that I have had little reluctance to bump to ISO 1600 in capturing real low light street scenes such as the followings. I must say that the little F30 seldom lets me down.:-)

PS. To me, it is an unhappy reality that the new F50 doesn't match the F30 / F31 as long as high ISOs are concerned; I sincerely hope that Fuji could reverse the present trend and produce compact digicams with superior low light capability again...

Best regards
