Din Side/Your Site have reviewed F11,20,30,31,40 and now 50 and lots of other Fujis. F30 got 6 out of 6 dots on the dice and F31 got 5 and still considered a marginally better camera, but lost one dot on a higher price (value for money) at the time of review. F40 got a 5 with a comment that the F3xs were better.
F50 gets only 4 dots on their dice-summary.

Noise: F50 is one stop worse than F3x – F50 ISO 400 is like F3xs ISO 800 and F50 ISO 800 is considred close to unuseable. He says that F50 Fuji cannot be called “king of indoors”.

IS makes handheld images in poor light sharper at least if the motive is not moving and maybe to some degree allow for using lower ISO.

Noise is there already at ISO 100-200.

If I summarise my impression of this review. MP-war has taken a severe toll on IQ in the F50 and the new IS isnt pointed out as a especially good new feature so I am a bit uncertain if and how he really tested the IS. Surely he isnt especially impressed by the IS.
