Hi, so I've been using 270ex (in conjunction with 5D2) for some time and shot a few events (wedding) and I keep having trouble with 270ex. What happens is it stops firing flash and I believe it is due to batteries. Sometimes taking out batteries and putting it back i helps but sometimes it doesn't. Flash would fire maybe 50 shots and then would stop, at which point I panic and try to figure out whats wrong, I've used regular AAs and they would last for about 50 shots, I then tried AA Lithium which I think lasted longer (probably 150-200 shots). Is this normal? What battery do you recommend putting in 270ex. I'd like to get atleast 200 shots before having to replace it and recycle times cannot be more than a 1-2 seconds. With AA I often had to give the flash a 5minute break and then it would start firing again. Any light you guys can shed on what is happening? Thanks.
