Shot several hundred snaps of a parade yesterday with the S5IS. It took a couple sets of AAs to do it...seemingly less than normal. When returning to the office, i checked the power left. One set averaged 1.36V each, and the other set 1.45V. Other electronic gadgets I have seem to run the batteries down to 1.0 to 1.2V before the instrument says "low battery".

Anyone know when the S5IS is set to shut down? (As said above it would be between 1.36 and 1.45V. Any way to get it to go longer, say with a software fix?

Hopefully someone can help midst this G11/S90 fest!
