Folks have been requesting comparisons between the S90 and the SD880IS and the Sony WX1; since I also had the little SD1200IS around, I thought I'd add that, and do a little mega-test of these four pocket cameras. If you're interested, I've got a whole bunch of comparison shots in one of my Zenfolio galleries, right here:

It's a whopping 108 photos -- since the different cameras varied quite a bit in their exposures, I posted shots at zero exposure compensation, -1/3 exposure compensation, and -2/3 exposure compensation for each shot, from each camera.
I could post a few shots here, but it would be relatively pointless -- the images in my gallery are original, straight-out-of-the-camera files, and you can download them all and pixel-peep to your heart's content. In fact, one of Zenfolio's new features is a choice to download the entire gallery, so "go for it" if you're game.
By all means, check them out, and come back and let us know what you think! I really haven't done any pixel-peeping myself -- I've been spending all of my time collecting the images, naming them, and so on. So, I'll let you tell me what you think, rather than vice-versa. :-)
Finally, all of these were taken in "P" or "program" mode, with default settings other than the exposure compensation. And the files are named with the camera name and the exposure compensation used -- "0" for "zero," "3" for "-1/3," and "6" for "-2/3."
Of course, the S90 has far more control than just "P" mode, but since that's all you get with the others, that's what I did with the S90, too. In the end, it's not really a "scientific" test at all -- I tried to capture the same image with each camera, and sometimes I did better than other times. But still, it should give you some kind of idea of the differences in image quality between these cameras -- by all means, check them out, and let us know what you think!
