Hello everybody,

does anyone know how to squeeze the best from Picturenaut (tips & tricks) ?

Wanting to explore the HDR world, I just downloaded this free tool and loaded a few SX10 pict in it. I followed the "standard" rules (tripod, AE brackting 0 -2 +2) but result are really disappointing...

Picturenaut basically provides just HDR creation and tone mapping.
Trying to play with "tone mapping", I cannot understand the difference between this and "regular" post-processing as the one I get with adcsee (levels, contrast, saturation etc. etc.) - is there any ?

Besides, the final output I get is a TIF file that cannot be converted to jpg (you get a garbage file...) - Is this due to color depth in pixels ?

Thanks for helping this beginner ;-)
