Despite the title this isn't a complaint thread. Just some quick observations with the S90 which in my opinion is a great little shooter.

Probably the first thing I noticed was that I wished the on/off switch and the ring control buttons were switched. Secondly the rear control dial is very touchy. It's set to ISO and I find that just handling the camera causes the ISO to change uncommanded.

Right after that I took some very low light shots last night and I declare the IS function to be a raging success. I always thought Nikon had one up on Canon with their VR especially on the P6000 but the S90 seems to have leveled the playing field in that regards. Going to take the camera out today on a bike ride and see what it can do.

As with all these digital cameras they're all really good enough and a great deal of fun. Nice to have a new toy to play around with.
