Just got home from a 2 week work trip to Afghanistan. Everytime I come home from a war zone trip I treat myself to a "didn't die" present and spend my government per diem on something I wouldn't normally have gotten. I took my IS 210 Powershot (forget what the US equivalent is) and got two large pieces of sensor dust in my camera. Afghanistan is rotten with moondust. Didn't surprise me but the camera is less than a year old so a repair or warranty replacement should be no problem at the local camera store. Battery is charging and photos later. Played with it in the store a bit and love the control rings. I wish it were more pocketable than some of Canon's other little wonders, though. John
