As long as all systems are go, this little wonder cam is a keeper and I rather keep it dust and moisture free for a while. Also the impression you see on the lid's foam is rather permanent and will not affect the workings of the camera. Meaning the foam is permanently pushed it, so it won't hurt the camera. Actually sort of locks the camera in position if it falls out of a truck or even if the said truck runs over it.
