I started up my brand new S5 with new Rayovac 2100mAH hybrids. I did not charge them. I used the batteries during the set up and every picture I have taken to date. The red flag to change the batteries finally occurred after 511 pictures. At least 100 hundred of those were taken with the internal flash.
