Hi, I put up the following gallery showing the difference between images from the two cameras. http://jerryk.smugmug.com/gallery/3413159#191268472 Note, the images displayed intially are e Smugmug Large jpeg ( 6 MB each). So be sure you have the bandwidth to handle them Some basic conclusions. The G9 raw images at low ISO are very good. Up until ISO 200 they are quite usable. Above ISO 200 the quality deteriorates, especially in the dark areas. However, at all ISOs the g9 images do not measure up to the 5D in both noise and Image Quality.
