Would love to hear (only) from others who have bought and decided to keep the S2. There are plenty of other threads devoted to those still deciding, comparing it to other cameras, pointing out it's weaknesses whether real or perceived, etc. There IS a place for those types of discussions and there are many of them going on now. I just hope there will be none of it in this thread.
I'd really like to begin some discussions with other S2 owners who want to share and learn from other owners. I have much to learn about it.
I am just beginning to discover some of it's incredible features. For starters, here's a partial list of what I really like about the S2:
- impressive feature set!
- excellent image quality at lower ISO #'s
- fast start-up, focus and write time
- no discernable shutter lag
- fast, easy access to all major settings without having to go through a myriad of camera menus; some key feature settings are accessible from a button on the camera body.
- both viewfinder & LCD show 100% of a scene
- AF Frame Selector button & Focus lock using the M (manual) button
- twist and turn LCD
- flash works with Continuous Mode
How about you?
