I just brought the camera 2 wks ago and i had changed the camera twice fm the service centre in singapore. I brought the first set and it gave me problem when i just use it on the third day. The second set even worst, just use it only for 3 hours, and it happen agains. I sent it in immediately, and they promised that the next day i can go down to exchanged one-to-one. B4 I went down, I gave them a call to check for me whether the stock is here, thay never reply and only when i gave them a call at a later time. They say they don't have the stock and only can gave it to me on monday.

The technician can't explain why happen and the second set they delivered to me is also the first batch and just happen again. I complain to the management and they just show you attitude and don't take any action. All they do is just say one word "sorry".
The time i spend to delivered to them and the inconvenieces that i had to bear when using the camera during a congress.

The camera problem lies not just the 'P' mode, its also lies on the IESP mode. It just popping up on the screen when you are taking some photo during the portrait mode. this happen when you play with the manual mode and then you switch to other mode, A,S,M, iMy, and trying to play with the menu and changes some configuration. then you try to switch back to any of the preset mode (portrait, landscape, night scences etc), the IESP mode came popping out, and the mode dial hanged.

I had checked with the technician in the services centre and my is not the only one, few more occured and there more to come. Those with the first batch had this problem, especially the last 4 digit of the serial no "1XXX".

So people out there, when you buy a new set of the camera, do try it out first carefully and note the serial no to avoid disappointment. This is not just only happen in my country , i think it just happen international.

So people beware when you buy this model or maybe some othe model of this brand...take care
